ALROSA says produces large 34.17-carat yellow diamond
MOSCOW, Oct 20 (PRIME) -- Almazy Anabara, a unit of Russian uncut diamond giant ALROSA, has produced a large 34.17-carat yellow diamond, the company said on Friday.
“This is the largest fancy-colored rough diamond produced by the company this year. The rough diamond produced at the Ebelyakh alluvial deposit measures 20.17 x 19.65 x 15.1 millimeters. It is a transparent intense yellow crystal with a small inclusion in the intermediate zone,” the statement said.
The diamond will be delivered to ALROSA’s united sales organization by the end of October for a more detailed and accurate assessment.
